Gardaland is Italy's largest theme park. Located in the southeastern section of Lake Garda, it is 5 kilometers from the Peschiera del Garda train station, which has a free shuttle bus to the park. The main entrance is on the Gardesana Orientale (SS 249) road between Peschiera and Lazise.

Gardaland is a true "city of entertainment and fun". It has many cafés, pizzerias, sandwich bars, ice cream parlors, shops, and unusual restaurants. As you can see, the choice of their names is not by chance. There is the Locanda del Corsaro Nero (The Black Pirate's Inn), the Pizzeria Saloon, the Aladino (Aladdin) self-service cafeteria, and the Blue Tornado fast food eatery. The many rides include the Blue Tornado, Torneo Medievale (Medieval Tournament), Il Castello di Mago Merlino (Merlin's Castle), Ikarus, Jungle Rapids, La valle dei re (Valley of the Pharaohs), Il Corsari (The Pirates), il Villaggio degli Elfi (Elf Village), Rio Bravo, and more. The PalaBlu dolphin aquarium presents shows all day long starring international artists.

Besides its many rides and activities, Gardaland also offers you a chance to relax in the park surrounded by rare trees such as the Metasequoia Glyptostroboides (a giant sequoia), the Washingtonia Robusta from California, the tulip tree, flowers, and topiaries. The park areas in Gardaland are wonderful: well-tended flower beds, fragrant blossoms, bushes in the most amusing and incredible shapes, rare trees such as the Washingtonia Robusta from California, the tulip tree, and the Glyptostroboides giant sequoia, which can reach 100 meters in height.
